Yung Berg is a rapper/ producer from the south side of Chicago. He first got his feet wet in the industry at the age of 15, when he met D.M.X. X was so impressed with the work ethic and motivation from Berg that he immediately signed him up to his Bloodline Record label distributed by Def Jam; making Berg the first artist signed to the imprint. Only a minor at the time, X shipped Yung Berg to New York and began production on his first LP. Unfortunately Berg’s parents couldn’t see eye to eye with the company so they removed him from the deal and sent him to Thompson Falls, Montana for boarding school.
