Wax Tailor, aka JC le Saout, earned international popularity with 2005’s Tales of Forgotten Melodies which received comparisons to Portishead, DJ Shadow, and RJD2 and spent nearly 30 weeks on the iTunes Top Electronic Albums charts. His latest release, Hope and Sorrow, via Decon Records follows in the footsteps of his breakout debut, combining trip-hop, turntablism, and hip hop into a signature sound that’s won praise from critics and fans alike. Hope and Sorrow features appearances by Sharon Jones, Voice, Charlotte Savary, Ursula Rucker, The Others, and more, and will be released on April 3rd.
