Anyone looking for counter culture icons with the ability to actually back it up , look no further. More than two years after growing a cult-like following with the release of their EP The Concrete's Always Grayer on the Other Side of the Street via Vice Records, the sardonic and soulful entity known as Vietnam have returned to the fold with a few extra friends and instruments in tow. While primarily known for their ultra-tone oriented guitar flying high above vocalist Joshua Garrett's vagabond drawl, the new Vietnam recordings feature more attention to detail, an offerring of new instrumentation, and contributions from their recent tourmate Jenny Lewis. Welcome to My Room is the exclusive EP preview of their forthcoming record on Kemado (dropping in January!), and also features the bonus non-album track "Goodbye" recorded live in Toronto this past October.
