Capturing intimate and interactive performance by two of today’s music superstars, ALANIS MORISSETTE: VH1 STORYTELLERS and NATALIE MERCHANT: VH1 STORYTELLERS debut on two separate DVD’s April 26, 2005 from Rhino Home Video.
Alanis’s performance was recorded at New York’s famous Roxy in 1999 for VH1’s award-winning series, while Natalie filmed hers in 1998 at the Manhattan Center in New York City. Performing songs from her classic “Jagged Little Pill”, Morissette recounts the tales behind her biggest hits including “You Oughta Know,” “Hand In My Pocket” and “You Learn.” Merchant also delves into the inspiration for her “Carnival,” “Break Your Heart” and “Wonder”. In addition, each DVD includes two bonus performances- Morissette’s “Uninvited” and “Head Over Feet” and Merchant’s “These Are The Days” and “Life Is Sweet” -all which were not seen in the original broadcast. Available April 26, 2005. Each DVD represents some of the most intimate in televised music performance in our current MTV age.

Multi-platinum artist Morissette’s first album “Jagged Little Pill” has sold over 30 million copies across the globe while Merchant has enjoyed critical and commercial success with her former band 10, 000 Maniacs as well as with her solo career.
DVD Special Features
The ALANIS MORISSETTE & NATALIE MERCHANT: VH1 STORYTELLERS DVD’s are presented in 5.1 audio and each include intimate versions of seven classic songs, along with bonus performances of “Uninvited” “Head Over Feet” “These Are The Days” and “Life Is Sweet” performed by Morissette and Merchant respectively. These bonus tracks were not aired during the original television broadcast.
