Lizard King Records US, the new branch of the UK label which signed The Killers in 2004, is ready to launch their roster of new artists. Alabama-born-neo-New Yorkers The Pierces (sisters Catherine and Allison) are the first artists to make their debut on Lizard King Records US. They will launch their new album by supporting Albert Hammond, Jr., whose solo excursion from The Strokes is getting great reaction in the UK with this sold-out tour.
The Pierces new album “Thirteen Tales of Love and Revenge” was produced by Roger Grenawalt (Ben Kweller, Adam Green) and will be released in February 2007 on Lizard King Records through ADA Distribution. When The Pierces were invited to join this tour, the sisters used their network of friends in New York to assemble a live band to be envied.
