His debut album "The Bachelor" gave us tracks like 'Pony' and 'Holler', his 1999 sophomore release '100% Ginuwine' gave us the smash hit 'What's So Different?', and now Ginuwine releases his third and latest album entitled "The Life".

Ginuwine is very much in control of the way he is represented through his music and is executive producer on each of his albums. All of them have had tracks with thumping basslines and songs with those 'stick in your head' type hooks, and he continues that with this new album.

Writing 14 of the albums 15 tracks it is and sounds like a Ginuwine album through and through. The lyrics are well written, describing the trials and tribulations that we all have to go through at some time in our life, with every verse, and displays how complete an artist Ginuwine really is.

There is a collaboration with Ludacris on a track entitled 'That's How I Get Down' and Raphael Saddiq co-writes the song '2 Way'. Noticeably absent however are any appearances from his superhero friends the Wonder Twins, Timbaland and Missy Elliot, the Green Lantern also know as Magoo, and Wonder Woman, who to us is known as Aaliyah. Even though Ginuwine is not an artist that collaborates much, his crew seem to be the mainstays when it comes to this, and even they don't appear on this album.

Ginuwine's undoubtable vocal talent is very well displayed on the tracks he writes for himself, and you can be sure there are some real quality tracks. The first song 'Why Not Me', which is my favourite track and is followed by another great song called 'There It Is'. Others to check out include 'So Fine' and the fabulous 'Show After The Show'.

Ginuwine reaches over and grabs your attention with this album, be sure to give him it all, you won't regret it.
