The Constantines 'Kensington Heights' album

Arts & Crafts is thrilled to reveal details from Constantines' forthcoming album Kensington Heights, which is available April 15 in Canada and April 29 in U.S. 12 tracks in all, the lead-off single, "Hard Feelings", has already received tremendous response from fans throughout North America, since its release on January 15 as a limited edition, white 7-inch vinyl.

biography
In September 2007, Arts & Crafts signed Constantines, Canada’s hardest working band, to a worldwide record and management deal. Speculations began to swirl after an on stage announcement was made by band-leader Bryan Webb at 2007’s V-Festival on Toronto Island. Formerly signed to Subpop in the U.S., Constantines first rocked their way out of Guelph, Ontario, in 1999, issuing their initial, eponymous full-length. The album’s raw, moody mix of arty dub-punk with traditional rock energy and pop angles was immediately and roundly embraced. Constantines topped the college radio charts in North America.

Constantines' music, as well as their thundering and inspired live shows, have continually earned the band a loyal following from both music writers and music fans alike, drawing comparisons to The Clash, Bruce Springsteen, Fugazi and Nick Cave. The band has toured extensively throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe since the release of their Juno nominated self-titled debut album in 2001, and have shared the stage with the likes of Foo Fighters, The Weakerthans, The Hold Steady, and Guided by Voices, to name a few. Constantines fourth studio album, entitled Kensington Heights (the follow up to 2003’s Shine A Light and 2005’s Tournament of Hearts) is due for release on April 15, 2008 on Arts & Crafts.
