Having conquered the download world and the ringtone universe, 17-year-old rap phenomenon Soulja Boy Tell’em racked up the best first week of sales for a new R&B/Hip-hop artist in 2007 with Souljaboytellem.com (ColliPark Music/Interscope Records), released October 2nd and featuring the street anthem “Crank That (Soulja Boy).”
Soulja Boy’s debut album entered the Billboard Top 200 chart at #4 and the R&B/Hip-hop chart at #1, with sales of 117,262 copies (Billboard, October 20 issue).
