Anchored by boisterous acoustic guitars and Sonya’s stunning, warm voice, “Here To There” is an upbeat but knowing reflection on unrequited long-distance romance — a topic that the young artist, who has been touring extensively since she was 14, knows a thing or two about. Whether or not she can yet answer her own question (she hazards a guess with the wry lyric “life is short and rarely fair”) -- as an artist Kitchell certainly is on the right path.
