Atlantic recording group Shinedown landed the biggest debut of their career today, with "The Sound Of Madness" debuting at #8 on the Billboard 200 album chart. This marks the first Top 10 album of the band's career.
"We put a lot of work into this record," commented lead singer Brent Smith. "I was determined from the beginning to make an album that people would feel was important to them and the world around them. I know we've accomplished that, and it seems that not only our longtime fans, but a lot of new fans, are reacting to what they're hearing. We're very thankful for that."
