Virgin Records southern rock quintet Saving Abel, currently conquering a wide swath of rock radio with the winningly uninhibited first single, "Addicted," will be bringing their hard-playing, hard-partying sound all around the country, with the announcement of a two-month series of tour dates with Puddle of Mudd, kicking off in early July.
Since the March release of the band's self-titled Skiddco/Virgin debut album, the featured track "Addicted" has zoomed to the No. 2 position at active rock radio and Top 15 at Alternative. The Saving Abel album, increasing in sales in each of its four weeks of release, has also charted at No. 2 in Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart of developing artists. They are the Clear Channel radio chain's New! rock band of the month.
