Sara Jorge is part of an elite club; one that no amount of money can buy entry into. She has beauty, talent and a soulful and creative energy that those dreaming of chart stardom can only wish for. Sara has truly been blessed.
Sun-kissed Sara was born in West London, but also remains loyal to her Cypriot heritage. A starlet from the moment she was born, by the age of twelve she had dreams of appearing on stage with Diana Ross and The Supremes, she started writing her first songs and recording her own bed-room versions of Whitney Houston classics. "I just knew from the moment I could talk I wanted to perform, I used to drive my parents crazy always singing and dancing round the house, but I just knew it was my dream to be in the spotlight."
By now most of you will know about stunning Sara's lucky break, a much told story involving Robbie Williams, a video audition and legendary producer Barry Blue. The happy ending? Sara abandoned the chance of dancing with Robbie in favour of the promise of a fantastic new music career.
Sara's talents will continue to reveal themselves over the coming months. She is putting the finishing touches to her forthcoming album, 'Electro Cute', which has been a year in development. "The album is sounding great, I've been really busy in the studio recording, writing and working with some amazing people. The credits for the album are an all-star line-up that includes Rob Davis, Gary Clark, Ash Howes, Martin Harrington and Simon Ellis". The result is a fantastic sounding debut album, full of great sounding pop songs from the Blondie-esque 'Victim of Love' to a great pop/rock cover of the Kinks ' All day and All night' renamed '24 Heaven'.
Sara's latest single "Dirty Business" is due for release on 5th September. A sexy soulful pop track written by man of the moment Eg White (Natalie Imbruglia, Will Young). Sara infuses "When I first heard the track, I knew it was the song for me and I can't wait for it's release".
