East Coast bred Rev Theory play loud, anthemic, hook-laden rock with an homage to all good things grunge. The second LP, Light it Up, from the Rev Theory brethren with split production by Brian Howes (Hinder, Puddle of Mudd) and Josh Abraham (Velvet Revolver, Korn) is set to be unleashed June 10th. The sophomore effort features the raucous single “Hell Yeah” whose chorus refrain of “Gimme a Hell/Gimme a Yeah/Stand Up Right now!” demands to be yelled and the title-track “Light it Up” which has found its home alongside Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Snow” as an official theme song for Wrestlemania XXIV. Rev Theory is poised to release the biggest rock record of 2008. You’ve been warned.
