Country singer/songwriter Ray Scott is taking matters into his own hands when it comes to his upcoming sophomore album. Crazy Like Me will be released on Scott's own label, Jethropolitan Records on Tuesday, June 3rd.
Scott was previously on Warner Bros. Records, where he released My Kind of Music in 2005 before parting ways with the label. He said, "After a couple of frustrating years dealing with a big record label that was no longer holding up their end of the deal, I'm finally free, and the taste of freedom is sweet! The time has never been better in the music biz to do something different."
Scott is currently on the road as part of The Honky Tonk Tailgate Party 2008 tour along with Trent Willmon, Mark Wills and Buddy Jewell. He can also be found at The 2nd Annual Friends of Ray Scott Party during the CMA Music Fest on Friday, June 6th in Nashville.
