Original Hamster 'Presents Trendsetter and the Followers' album

Original Hamster is finally back! After a long time of production, shows, releases, remixes and collaboration with a wide range of artists, chilean Original Hamster hits us with the longly expected Trendsetter and The Followers long player. He has been busy remixing artists like Senor Coconut, Drop the lime, Panico, Electronicat, Mike Shannon, The Numbers, Com.a and many others, also in production work with latin superstars Los Prisioneros and electronic wizard Atomâ"e¢ and releasing works on labels like Akufen's Musique Risquee and Mutante. Original Hamster is also one half of the MTV award winning hiphop production duo Hermanos Brothers, awarded as "best latinamerican independent band". His Original Hamster shows are known to be pretty wild and funky, having played in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, England, Japan and at some of the most important festivals like Mutek 2004, Mutek 2005 (with Atomâ"e¢), Villette-Numerique among many others.

In short, this album its a funky-marketing inspired-distorted-hi tech electro. We are talking about high-end marketing concepts here, musicalized in the trendiest possible ways. Funky distorted beats, catchy melodies and unpredictable sounds forming irresistible songs. References to the likes of Kraftwerk, R&B, Public Enemy are on display, but accommodated in a very unique way. The album also includes remixes from class A artists from all over the world, like ATOM tm, France superstar KRIKOR, MIKE SHANNON, rock revelation PANICO (tigersushi), KID606 and many more! Biography

Original Hamster is Vicente Sanfuentes, from Chile. He's been around the chilean musical scene for quite a while, dj'ing like an animal in whatever kinda a party he jumped into or producing beats and bands for whoever wanted to put his musical career into risk. Practically there's no musical style he hasn't messed with: hiphop/funk/rock/pop/techno/folk, even reggaeton with his longtime partner Atom™, doing the wild thing live. His live shows are a faithfull representation of his infidelity to a gender. You can expect all the above, and probably, all at the same time. The only objective adverb we can use to describe his musical aproach is: whateverthefuckcomesaroundable.
