GAY, BLACK & MARRIED started when Enzo Santiago and Skye d'Angelo met one night in a small bar in Portiers, France, and they knew it was magic! It wasn't romance that sparked their friendship, but the love of dance music, especially disco music. Both were musicians and had been dj's in Europe for quite some time. Both were extremely bored with the Ibiza house scene and the endless array of mindless dance music that was being played there. So in late 2002, they took what little money they had and entered a recording studio in France and began writing. Their ideas were fresh, fun and filled with the scent of the late 70's, yet neither had any experience in production. Enzo decided to send a demo of the work to his friends Buzz McCoy and Groovie Mann, founding members of the American band "My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult", whom he befriended on a European tour they did back in 1990. He knew that the TKK boys were big disco fans and hoped they might like to get involved with the project. Needless to say they jumped at the chance!
