The long awaited re-release of Midlake's 2001 EP 'Milkmaid Grand Army' is now a reality. Slated for release on November 28, 2006, the seven-song EP was originally released independently exactly 5 years earlier in November of 2001. The initial pressing was a modest 1000 copies and, once the stock was depleted, the band decided to cease production, making the recording a rare collectors' item. That is, until now. With the release of Milkmaid Grand Army, Midlake reveals the beginning stages of a music career that has proven prosperous and continues to gain momentum.
