“Stellar one-man-band” (Rolling Stone) Liam Finn won five of the top awards at the recently held B.Net Music Awards in his native New Zealand. B.Net is New Zealand’s leading national network of student radio stations. Riding high on the strength of his solo debut, I’ll Be Lightning - released in NZ earlier this year and out Jan 22 in the US via Yep Roc - Liam walked away with awards including Album Of The Year, Artist Of The Year, Single Of The Year, and Pop Single Of The Year (the latter two for the song “Second Chance”). The recognition comes on the heels of Finn’s recently completed sold out tour of New Zealand.
