ILL BILL regretfully announces that his forthcoming sophomore effort, The Hour of Reprisal, has been pushed back until early 2008. The hour-long album, which is to be accompanied by a full-length DVD of ILL BILL live at the legendary (and tragically shuttered) CBGB, features guest appearances by the likes of Raekwon the Chef, B-Real, Immortal Technique, Tech N9ne and Necro, as well as members of the Bad Brains, Killswitch Engage, La Coka Nostra, Jedi Mind Tricks, HERO and Sepultura/Soulfly. Tracks for the set were composed by Muggs, DJ Premier, Lethal, Necro, T-Ray, Cynic, and Sicknature, with a majority of the production coming courtesy of ILL BILL himself. Bill offers “I am extremely proud of this album...it is the most personal music I’ve ever made.” He adds “this record is an uncompromising snapshot of my entire life and the world around me at this very moment.”
