HalfDown Thomas: A name that sounds strange and immediately identifiable at the same time. Different yet same ... that pretty much sums up the idea behind this Band.

Started in 1999 in the little North Alabama town of Cullman, HalfDown Thomas (or HDT) began as a project created by guitarist Wesley Smith, drummer Josh Wilbanks, and bassist George White who had been playing together for the last 6 years in the various incarnations of the garage band Aeseye. The decision was made to make something more out of the situation, so auditions were held and singer Randy Ayers was taken onboard. The chemistry was instant, and within 4 months HDT found themselves in the studio recording their first 5 song EP.
