| Check out Mark Ronson- Version It's very different music. He's a dj/producer who has worked with Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen, and Robbie Williams. He's done these crazy remixes of Coldplay, The Smiths, and etc. It has a weird emphasis on horns in his songs, but no matter, it still sounds great! Also, If you like ambient/chill-out music I'd check out- Andrew Bird (alternative, chill-out) Dear and the Headlights (alternative, acoustic, also chill) The National (lead singer has a crazy deep, unique voice) Try it and give me your thoughts.

| Hi, I'm new around here - but this discussion made me want to instantly add a message - Actually, I've heard something rather good lately! In a sea of 'processed' hip hop & r&b - it's nice to know what there are still some real hip hopper out there that are still making hip hop style music the way it should be made!(ie: Interesting & creatively) A recent example is an album by DJ T-Rock & Squashy Nice entitled 'OutLoud' - I was reading about it online, was googling for some else completely unreleated & stumbled accross this website that was talking about the new album & I ended-up downloaded it from itunes last week - 25 tracks of what I would term 'realer' hip hop, based on everyday subjects & themes. These kats are from the South, but it seems T-Rock now lives in Los Angeles from what I can gather. This is the website where I got all the info's from: www.whyrecords.com Also I would suggest you go to the 'downloads' page on the Why Records site & download the video to the track 'Ho Really'(which is free) it's a super funny video!! Happy listening!
