Hey everyone! I'm always trying to find new music and I'm looking for some new artist recommendations and was wondering if anyone could help me out? I'm into almost any type of music but really like pop/jazz/soul type stuff. Know anyone good?

I recently found this artist on MySpace that some of you might be interested in hearing. Her name is Louise Setara and her page is www.myspace.com/louisesetara. My friend told me about her. She's pretty young but she sounds so much older. Her sound reminds me of Mariah Carey and Kelly Clarkson's ballads, Alicia Keys and Tina Arena. My favorite songs so far are "Wrong Again" and "Can't Stop the River" (which even reminds me of some of Aretha Franklin's songs, like "Natural Woman"). There's just a great soul inside the music that's surprising for her age and a first album. Really cool.

Has anyone else heard her before? I'd love to find more info. about her or artists that might be similar.

What a great new artist you stumbled upon - wow! Her voice just seems to flow and it reminds me of a cross between Mariah Carey and Kelly Clarkson. I instantly wanted to find out more about this artist so I checked out her website. I didn't know Seal wrote "Can't Stop The River" and that "Love Me Still" was originally recorded by Chaka Khan. Two artists I simply love!
