Erika Jo Heriges was born November 2nd, 1986 in Angleton Texas. She is the daughter of Bo and Paige Heriges, and is the oldest of two children (sister Shelby Lynne is 15). At the age of three months, Paige entered her newborn daughter in her first beauty contest, one of many to come through out the next seven years of Erika's young life.

It was in the beauty contests that Erika first discovered her love for music. In addition to the beauty competition, there was also the talent division. At the age of two and a half years Erika won her first national title in the talent portion of the contest.
Many titles followed over the next few years, with her talent ever expanding to many styles of music. In 1991 at the age of five, Erika became a regular member of her fathers' five piece country band that traveled across the south and midwest performing at all different types of venues.
As Erika's name became well know in the region, she began to receive request to perform at such functions as weddings, private parties, and public events such as singing the National Anthem for local high schools and college teams including the Kentucky Wildcats and the Vanderbilt Commodores.
In the past, Erika has appeared on several national television shows including The Crook and Chase Show, and Prime Time Country, both on the TNN network in Nashville, and on PAX TV's Destination Stardom from Hawaii. In 1999 she was a finalist in the True Value Country Showdown where she got to fulfill a dream of singing on the stage of the world famous Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.
Erika Jo, now eighteen years old is a senior at Wilson Central High School in Lebanon TN, and is looking forward to what the future holds for her, both professionally and personally.
Erika continues to follow her dream and perform regularly with her band. She loves being on stage and feels right at home there. If you have the opportunity to see her in action, it is an experience you will not soon forget. You too will see why Erika Jo is knows as "The little girl with the big voice".
