Bonk was started by musicians Dez and Leif in the late 90´s. They wanted to create something special, a whole, not just another band. Maybe that is part of the reason why they took the name Bonk which beside obvious connotations also represents an artensemble from Finland involved in all aspects of modern art.
In the beginning they wrote songs and teamed up with different musicians which resulted in various shows and the 7” "Hurt yourself".
